Additionally, when drinking to someone’s health you naturally wish that person well and hold them in a state of well-being, creating a joyful healing atmosphere psychologically and in the energetic field. All the five senses are activated, the vision of the glasses coming together filled with the wine, the sound of the glasses clinking, the bouquet/smell of the wine, the feel of the glass in hand, and the taste of the wine!  There is a total engagement of your being in the spirit of goodwill. The container, wine glass or cup, symbolizes the heart, which has the capacity to hold love. The two glasses clinking together creates the image of two hearts coming together, or from the mystic point of view, duality moving into unity!
