2019 Winter/Spring focus: Interbeing
One of our great challenges as human beings is to grow into our unique, precious individual selves and connect deeply with others recognizing our similarities and differences. We will learn how to recognize and move past the two primary patterns we have been taught of dependency (forgetting ourselves) and independency (not connecting or honoring others) to move to interdependency or interbeing. This equally applies to our world with its many cultures and nations. Our inner work supports this movement of global consciousness to become a tapestry of diversity and relationships.
“If we presume to know the roots of society’s suffering, but do not know our own, we do not know anything at all. If we refuse to see suffering’s inner origins, we will never heal the outer symptoms. If we awaken to these inner origins, we will become a healing force.” The Activist’s Tao Te Ching
